: Can I get help with this question? It's been buggen me and have no clue on how to solve it, please help
The problem is:
Find the hypotenuse of a right triangle with sides 5 inches and 10 inches.
Please help! Thank You! This question is from textbook algebra
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Use Pythagoras (575 BC).
hypotenuse^2 = side^2 + other side ^2
h^2 = 5^2 + 10^2
h^2 = 25 + 100
h^2 = 125
h = 5*sqrt(5) or appoximately 11.18 inches
