What is a whole number with the smallest perfect square greater than one?
I am very confused with what it asking me. Could someone please help? I would greatly appreciate it.

It sounds like they are saying that
1 is a perfect square, and they want
the next higher perfect square which
would be 4. 4 is a perfect square
because it's square root is a whole
number: +4+=+2%2A2+
The next higher perfect square would be 9
since +9+=+3%2A3+
