Yes, there is, if you know 
the first five cubes:

1³ = 1
2³ = 8
3³ = 27
4³ = 64
5³ = 125

plus the fact that 10³ = 1000

So from knowing that,

10³ = 1000
20³ = 8000
30³ = 27000
40³ = 64000
50³ = 125000

The cube root of 34595 lies between 27000 and 64000,
so 34595 lies between 30³ and 40³.  So its cube root
lies between:
