You can put this solution on YOUR website!
14-7+4(-9)/9*4

First of all, the "parentheses" part of the order of operations, aka PEMDAS, means perform operations inside of parentheses before operations outside of parentheses. In your expression, there is no operations in "(-9)". The parentheses are only being used to indicate that it is a negative 9 and not a subtraction of 9. Since there is no operations to perform, there is no "parentheses" to "do" in your expression. (But this is not the source of your error.

After parentheses we do exponents. Your expression has no exponents.

After we do exponents we do multiplying and dividing. Important: We do them together, in the order we find them. We do not do multiplying first and then dividing. This is where your error is.

So we start by doing the first multiplication or division: 4*(-9)
14-7+(-36)/9*4
Then we do the next multiplication or division: (-36)/9
14-7+(-4)*4
Then we do the next multiplication or division: (-4)*4
14-7+(-16)

Now we go on to the addition and subtraction. Like multiplication and division we do them at the same time, in the order we find them. So we start by subtracting 14-7:
7+(-16)
And then add
-9
