Question 230479: How do I get my answer to equal 1 when the only numbers I have to use are 10,9,8,6,5. I can multiply, divide, subtract, and add. I have tried all the adding and subtracting ways. I have also tried getting the numbers to go negative so I can get it up to one.

You didn't specify all of the rules. But I'm going to presume that you cannot use any of the numbers more than once and that you have to use all of them.
