Assume that y is not equal to 0.
Then 10x%5E2-9xy%2B2y%5E2+=+%285x+-+2y%29%282x+-+y%29+=+0
==> 5x - 2y = 0 or 2x - y = 0
==> x/y = 2/5 or x/y = 1/2.
Therefore there are two possibilities for x/y, namely 2/5 or 1/2.
