You can put this solution on YOUR website!

I have a sequence of 5,15,25,35,... and I am suppose to find the 50th term , and I am not sure how to find it can you help me.

This is an arithmetic sequence since the terms differ by 10. Applying the arithmetic sequence formula, t%5Bn%5D+=+t%5B1%5D+%2B+%28n+-+1%29d, with t%5Bn%5D being the term value, or t%5B50%5D, t%5B1%5D being term number 1, or 5, n being 50, and d being the common difference between the terms, or 10, we get:

t%5Bn%5D+=+t%5B1%5D+%2B+%28n+-+1%29d

t%5B50%5D+=+5+%2B+%2850+-+1%2910

t%5B50%5D+=+5+%2B+%2849%2910

t%5B50%5D+=+5+%2B+490
