Multiply each term in S by 10.
Then 10S+=+7%2B+0.7+%2B+0.07+%2B+0.007+%2B+0.0007+%2B+....
Then subtract S from 10S:
10S+-+S+=+7 or 9S+=+7 or S+=+7%2F9
