The given series can be obtained by deleting infinitely many number of terms from the p-series 1%2B1%2F2%5Ep+%2B+1%2F3%5Ep%2B+1%2F4%5Ep++...+1%2Fn%5Ep+..., with p = 2. In such case the p-series is absolutely convergent. Since the given series is just 1%2B1%2F4%5E2+%2B+1%2F7%5E2+%2B+1%2F10%5E2++...+1%2Fn%5E2+..., the series is also absolutely convergent, and consequently convergent.
