the 100th term is ___ 4 + 3(99) or 301

the 1st term plus the 100th term is ___ 4 + 301 = 305

the 2nd term plus the 99th term is ___ 7 + 298 = 305

see the pattern? ___ there are 50 of these pairs

the sum of the first 100 terms is ___ 305 * 50
