Condittion 2:
x-y=12

In Condtn 1 we get, x=1.5y, EQN 1, substitute in Condtn 2:

0.5y=12 ----> cross%280.5%29y%2Fcross%280.5%29=cross%2812%2924%2Fcross%280.5%29
red%28y=24%29, one number

Susbt. in EQN 1: x=1.5%2824%29
red%28x=36%29, other number
