Get a common denominator....
2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4
The n-th term is (n+1)/4.
Note that, without any further description of the sequence, that is only a guess as to what the sequence is. Other much more complicated patterns could produce the same sequence.
So, because multiple answers are possible, this is not a good math question.
