Only looks like some random one-digit whole numbers. No repeats seen in first five terms. If that's all then possible next choice could be any one of 2, 3, 6.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I hope this was just a puzzle your teacher gave, because it is not really a good math problem, IMO. It might be the sequence of single digit numbers listed in alphabetical order.
In that case, six (6) comes next.
