Question 1121187: I have generated the following number series using a very simple method that includes only addition. I will pay five dollars to anyone who can tell me the method I used and the next number in the series. Another five dollars for the number after that. Anyone?
6,13,6,9,12,5,12.......
Same method, slightly altered 15,12,19,12,15,18,11....

Reading thoughts from your head and/or guessing the algorithms from your head is not a school Math problem.
P.S. I am with Math just more than 50 years, so I can distinct a Math problem from not-a-Math problem with the same certainty as
you can distinct a black cat from a white one. // Your question "Why ?" is not applicable in this case.
