How can I find a sum of an infinite sequence if there is no common ratio?
It is an alternating series, but no common ratio.

If it is the geometric sequence, then it MUST have a common ratio.
If the sequence alternates signs, then the common ratio is NEGATIVE number.
Nobody in the school will ask you to find the sum of an infinite sequence, if it is not a geometric sequence.
