Question 1032830: A disease spread to infect fewer people over time. The total number of people infected was modeled by the following geometric series: 100+60+36+108/5+324/25+... What is the total number of people infected in the outbreak?

I know that each number is decreasing by 3/5 of the previous number but I couldnt get an even number of people.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of an infinite geometric series is given by
S+=+a%5B1%5D+%2F+%281-r%29
Here we have
S+=+100+%2F+%281-%283%2F5%29%29+=+100+%2F+%282%2F5%29+=+250 people.
