n=number of term. Subtract (6(n-1))
from previous result if n is even.
Add 6(n-1) to previous result if
n is odd.
.
n=1 . 6(1-1)=0 . 2(+)0=2 . (Add if n is odd.)
n=2 . 6(2-1)=6 . 2(-)6=-4 .(Subtract if n is even.)
n=3 . 6(3-1)=12.-4(+)12=8 . (Add if n is odd.)
n=4 . 6(4-1)=18. 8(-)18=-10 . (Subtract if n is even.)
n=5 . 6(5-1)=24.-10(+)24=14 . (Add if n is odd.)
n=6 . 6(6-1)=30. 14(-)30=-16 . (Subtract if n is even.)
