31 > x > 4
35 > x > 4
35 > x > 27
35 > x > 31
Couldnt it be B or C. Say it was C and the third side is 28 or 34. 31+4 is more than 28 and 34. Say the third side was 31 28+4 is more than 31. Say the answer was D and the third side was 32 or 34. 31+4 ir more than 32 and 34. So i am not sure

2)Work. Henry sold 120 magazine subscriptions in X + 2 days. If he sold at the same rate for another week, then how many magazines did he sell in the extra week?
3)Barn painting. Melanie can paint a certain barn by herself in X days. Her helper Melissa can paint the same barn by herself in X days. Write a rational expression for the fraction of the barn that they complete in one day by working together. Evaluate the expression for X = 5

Question 129461: Using the perimeter formula for a rectangle and the fact that the perimeter should be 48 feet, solve for the length to write an equation for the length of the rectangle in terms of the width.
My answer is:
P = 2L + 2W
48 = 2L + 2W
48 = 2(12) + 2(12)
48 = 24 + 24
P = 48

Question 129625: translate to an algebraic equation then solve. the lenght of a rectangle is six units longer than the width. find the lenght and width if the perimeter of the rectangle is 60 units.
2) fin the circumference and area of a circle with the radius 3.5 feet. use 22/7 for pi.
3) the width of a rectangular playground is 18 meters less than the lenght. find the width when the perimeter of the rectangle is 84 meters.
