You can put this solution on YOUR website! length = 8 cm
width = 4 cm
area = length x width
= 8x4
= 32 cm^2
if area is doubles , the new area = 32*2
= 64 cm^2
new area = 64 cm^2
new length and width = 8 cm and 8 cm
other possibility
new length & width = 16 cm and 4 cm
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 1. Unless you're an ant or something, an 8 cm x 4 cm garden seems tiny.
2. The area of a garden usually doesn't randomly double.
3. There is not enough info to determine length and width. All we know is that the current area is 32 cm^2, so the new area is 64 cm^2.
