let's say 80m long
to swim 1km
1000%2F80%29 would be the lengths necessary

Not enough info. The pool could be
4*60 which has a perimeter of 128 meters
or 2*120 which has a perimeter of 244 meters
or it could be 24*10 with a perimeter of 68 meters
