If your dimensions are x and y, then the perimeter is 2x+2y=70; divide members by 2 and you have x+y=35.
y=35-x.

Again, the figure or picture is needed. If width is 3y+4 and length is y+3, then using the simplified perimeter equation,
3y%2B4%2By%2B3=35
4y%2B7=35
4y=28
y=7------Use this to find the value for x.

x%2By=35
x=35-y
x=35-7
x=28-----The other dimension.
