Hi,
the length of a rectangle is 5 more than the width green%28x%29. length is ((x+5)
if the perimeter is 42 ft, what are the dimensions of the rectangle.

P = 2(x+5) + 2x = 42ft
2x + 10 + 2x = 42ft
4x = 32ft
x = 8ft, the width. The length is 13ft
CHECKING our answer***
26ft + 16ft = 42ft
