Question 775807: The length of a rectangle is 3 cm, times it's width. The perimeter is 64 cm. Find the dimensions of the rectangle. Answer by sofiyac(983) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! if width is x then length is 3x
perimeter means all sides added (or each side times two) so
2x+6x=64
8x=64
x=8 so the width is 8, then the length is 3*8=24
