the perimeter of a rectangle is P=+2L%2B2W where L is the length and W is the width
so, if you have the perimeter of a rectangle and the width, the length will be:
P=+2L%2B2W....solve for L
P-2W=+2L
%28P-2W%29%2F2=+L
P%2F2-W=+L
