Solution:
Let 'l' and 'b' be the length and breadth of the rectangle respectively.
Given : 2(l + b ) = 22 = Perimeter
lb = 24 or b =24/l
2(l+b) = 22 =r (l+b) = 11
Substitute for b
l + 24/l = 11 or l%5E2+-11L+%2B+24+=+0
Solving the quadratic equation , we get l = 8 or 3 and b = 3 or 8
Therefore , length of the rectangle = 8 m and breadth = 3m
