BECAUSE THE DENOMINATORS ARE THE SAME SET THE NUMERATORS = AND SOLVE THUS

X/4=8/4 HERE TOO THE DENOMINATORS ARE EQUAL SO YOU WOULD NORMALLY CROSS MULTIPLY AND SOLVE. THUS:
4X=4*8
4X=32
X=32/4
X=8
