Knowing
p = 2l + 2w
...
90 = 2(2w-6) + 2w
Distribute the 2
90 = 4w - 12 + 2w
Combine like terms
90 = 6w - 12
90 + 12 = 6w
102 = 6w
Divide both sides by 6
