Question 571221: there are two concentric circles as shown in the following figure. the circumference of outer circle is 132cm and circumference of the inner circle is 88cm. find the difference between their radii i.e. (22/7-r). can you please give
me an immediate answer

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if i understand the question correctly, the difference between the radius of the larger circle and the smaller circle is 22/pi.
i believe this would be true whether or not the circles are concentric or not.
the circumference of a circle is equal to 2*pi*r
for the larger circle, this becomes 132 = 2*pi*r
divide both sides of this equation by 2*pi to get r = 132/(2*pi) which results in r = 66/pi
similarly, for the smaller circle, r = 88/(2*pi) which results in r = 44/pi
the difference between the radius of the larger circle and the radius of the smaller circle is 66/pi - 44/pi which is equal to 22/pi.
