The perimeter of a rectangle is,
P=2L%2B2W=88
1.L%2BW=44
The area of a rectangle is,
A=L%2AW=363
2.LW=363

The area of a rectangle is the length times the width.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 2 times the length plus 2 times the width.

Let's use the area formula to develop an expression for length in terms of the width:





Now substitute into the Perimeter formula:



Now multiply through by w:
