You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello,
Let x be the width and 5x be the length so the equation will be:
2x+2(5x)=96 Rewritten as:
12x=96 Divide both sides by 12 to get:
x=8
So the width is 8 yards and the length will be 40 yds.
Make sense?
