Question 270911: if the length of a rectangle is 3 feet greater than the width and it has an area of 28 square feet, what are its dimensions? Answer by JBarnum(2146) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! L=W+3 and LW=28
then find 2 #'s that multiply together to get -28 and add together to get +3
W=-7,4 since the area cant be negative,
L=W+3
