A rectangular room is 1.5 times as long as it is wide, and its perimeter is 32 meters. Find the dimension of the room.
Width of room be x
Length = 1.5x
Perimeter=2*(l+b)
= 2(1.5x+x)
3x+2x=32
5x=32
X=6.4
& 9.50 meters

The correct answer for length is   1.5*6.4 = 9.6 meters.
