The formula for finding the area of a rectangle is:
A+=+b%2Ah
where A is the area of the rectangle, b is the base, and h is the height.
so, to find h, we substitute our given values:
12+=+24+%2A+h
h+=+12+%2F+24+=+1+%2F+2
The height of the rectangle is 1 / 2.
