You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Circumference is a term reserved for the perimeter of a circle.
I'm assuming you mean the perimeter of the rectangle.
P=2%28L%2BW%29
2%28L%2BW%29=100
L%2BW=50
L=50-W
and
LW=1
Substituting from above,
%2850-W%29W=1
-W%5E2%2B50W=1
W%5E2-50W%2B1=0
%28W%5E2-50W%2B625%29%2B1=625
%28W-25%29%5E2=624
W-25=0+%2B-+sqrt%28624%29
W=25%2B-4sqrt%2839%29
So then,
L=50-%2825%2B-4sqrt%2839%29%29
L=25+%2B-+4sqrt%2839%29
.
.
.
So the two sides of the rectangle are 25-4sqrt%2839%29 and 25%2B4sqrt%2839%29.
