one side: x+5
the other: x
-.-.-.-.-.-.
2(x+5)+2(x) = 126
2x+10+2x = 126
4x = 116
4x/ = 116/4 =
x = 29 this is the other side. One side is 29+5= 34
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
Check:
2(29)+2(34) = 126
