2w + 2L = P
2x + 2(x+2) = 28ft
2x + 2x+ 4 = 28ft
4x = 24ft
x = 6ft, the value of x
Checking.. L = 8ft 6%2B2
2w + 2L = P
12ft + 16ft = 28ft CHECKS!

28=2*3+2(2+x)
x=9
so lenght is 11
width is 3
check
28=2*3+2*11
