You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Using a rectangular solid with the top vertex being K, L, M, and N.
Along with the bottom vertex being R, S, T, and Q.
Find the diagonal KT given the following measures.
RS=6, ST=3, and SL=4.
What is the diagonal KT=?
The answer must have a 6 in the second position. ___ 6___
:
I drew this out and labeled the vertex's.
Find the diagonal (d) of the horizontal rectangle
d = sqrt%286%5E2+%2B+3%5E2%29
d = 6.7082:
The opposite corner diagonal KT forms a triangle,
6.7082 = the base
4 = the height
KT = the hypotenuse
KT = sqrt%286.7082%5E2+%2B+4%5E2%29
kt = 7.81, no 6 in the answer, but I can't see where I could have done it differently
