When in doubt think "should this angle be bigger or smaller than ° ?"
to draw an angle , which is ˚.
Step 1:
Draw a line segment and mark as the first endpoint
Step 2: Place the center of the protractor at the endpoint and adjust the base line to be aligned to line segment.
Step 3: Find ˚ on the outer scale of the protractor and mark that point as point .
Step 4: Remove the protractor and draw a line from point to point

then go and draw a arc inside angle, do same from the point
mark the point where these two arcs intersect and draw a line from A through that point
