Replace the value you're given. The equation becomes:
41 (which is F) = 9/5C + 32
Subtract 32 from each side
41-32 = 9/5C
9 = 9/5C
Multiply each side by 5/9 (to isolate the C - 5/9 * 9/5 = 1)
9 * 5/9 = C
Multiply across
45/9 = C
reduce
5 = C

add -32 to each side

%285%2F9%29%28F-32%29=+C or
C=%285%2F9%29%28F-32%29
Now substitute 41 for F
C=%285%2F9%29%2841-32%29
C=%285%2F9%29%289%29
C=5
