Question 817295: Can you please help me put y = 2x - 3 into y=mx+b form?
Answer by TimothyLamb(4379) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! both m and b have plus signs in front of them.
actually m doesn't but it's implied to be there, like so:
y = +mx + b
---
so change the given equation so that both positive signs are there, or implied in the case of m.

given:
y = 2x - 3
---
answer:
y = 2x + (-3)
