Equation for graph of cos function: y=Acos(Bx-C), A=amplitude, Period=2π/B, Phase shift=C/B

For given cosine function, y=3cos(2x)
Amplitude=3
B=2
Period=2π/B=π
1/4 period=π/4
C=0
Phase shift: none
..
Graphing:
On an (x,y) coordinate system label the x-axis in radians:
On the x-axis, make tick marks at: π/4, π/2, 3π/4, π, 5π/4, 3π/2, 7π/4, and 2π
(These are 1/4 period points over 2 periods, 0-2π)
Plot the following points: (0,3), (π/4,0), (π/2,-3), (3π/4,0), (π,3), (5π/4,0), (3π/2-3), (7π/4,0) and (2π,3)
