You can put this solution on YOUR website! What numbers cannot be used for x in each rational expression?
The denominators cannot be zero.
----
a. (3x - 1)/(x^2 - 4)
x^2-4 cannot be zero
x cannot be 2 or -2
------------------------------
b. 8/(3 + 2x)
3+2x cannot be zero
x cannot be -3/2
-----------------------
c. 5/x
x cannot be zero
