Question 314770: Can you give me examples of graphing a vertical and a horizontal line on the same coordinate plane and find the equations for the lines and give their slopes, x-intercepts, and y-intercepts. Please and thank you. ;)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Can you give me examples of graphing a vertical and a horizontal line on the same coordinate plane and find the equations for the lines and give their slopes, x-intercepts, and y-intercepts. Please and thank you. ;)
------------------
Vertical lines cannot be graphed on this site
because they are not functions.
---------------------------------------
But you can graph your own vertical line:
Draw a vertical line thru (2,4) and (2,0)
The equation is x = 2
The slope is "undefined"
The x-intercept is (2,0)
There is no y-intercept because the line
is parallel to the y-axis.
------------------------------------
Draw a horizontal line thru (2,4) and (3,4)
The equation is y = 4
The slope is zero
The x-intercept does not exist
The y-intercept is (0,4)
