To graph y=-x%5E2%2B2x, plug in a series of 'x' values to find the corresponding y values (eg plug in x=3 to get y=-%283%29%5E2%2B2%283%29=-3 giving the point (3,-3)). Once you have a series of points, you will get a parabola. Another way to do it is to find the vertex and then find points on either side of the vertex.


To find the y-intercept, plug in x=0 and solve for y.


To find the x-intercept, plug in y=0 and solve for x. To do this, either factor or use the quadratic formula.
