the domain is the value of x can be any integer greater than zero.
the value of x can't be negative since the number of digital prints can't be negative.
the value of x can't be 0 since since you don't go into a store to make 0 prints.

the range is the value of y greater than or equal to .13 in increments of .13.

the relationship between x and y is a function because each and every value of x results in one and only one distinct value of y.

in function notation, y = .13 * x is written as f(x) = .13 * x

f(5) replaces x with 5 to get f(5) = .13 * 5 = .65
it tells you to evaluate the function when x = 5.
x = 5 means you printed 5 digital pictures.
f(5) means it cost you 65 cents to print 5 digital pictures.

f(12) replaces x with 12 to get f(12) = .13 * 12 = 1.56
