You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To start making this (factor tree) you want to pick and two numbers that multiply to make 110. The two numbers I picked are 55 and 2. Since 2 is a prime number I do not have to break it down any further (a good idea is to circle it so you dont forget it.) Then I broke down 55 into 11 and 5. 11 and 5 are both prime numbers so they do not need to be broken down any further.(circle them). Now when there are no more numbers to break down. Express the answer as a product of prime numbers.

100
55 2
11 5
answer: 11*5*2

110 is NOT a prime number and could be factored like this:
110 is divisible by 2:
110+=+2+%2A+55
55 is divisible by 5:
55+=+5%2A11
and
11 is a prime+number

So, the prime-factored form of the number 110 is:
110+=+2%2A5%2A11
