You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=6x^2-2 g(x)=f(x/2)-3
How to graph and find the y intercept
------
g(x) = 6(x/2)^2-2 = 6(x^2/4)-2 = (3/2)x^2 - 2
That is a parabola opening up from (0,-2) which is the y-intercept.
g(-2) = (3/2)4-2 = 4 gives you point (-2,4)
By symmetry you also have point (2,4)
------
Plot (0,-2),(-2,4) and (2,4) and draw a parabola opening upward.
