How long would it take to fill the pool if only the slower pipe is used?" Here is how I'm looking at it. The fast pipe is an unknown (f), the slow pipe is 1.25 times slower than the fast pipe (1.25f) and working together, they equal (5). Then I break them into units: 1/f + 1/1.25f = 1/5. How do I correctly determine the LCD?
