Question 750400: ok here is my question, "one hose can fill a child's pool in 24min. A larger hose can fill the pool in 12 min. If the two hoses are used together, how long will it take to fill the pool?"
what I did and still got it wrong was 1/24+ 1/12 = 2/36 = 1/18 so i figured 18min but it cannot be possible if a single hose alone can fill it in 12 min
