Question 363386: Write an equation of the line passing through (-3,13),(8,9), and (-8,23).
I wasn't sure how to do this because they have different slopes.
The slope of (-3,13) and (8,9) is 4/-11
The slope of (8,9) and (-8,23) is 7/-8
How would I write an equation for that?

Working together, Paul and Daniel can pick forty bushels of apples in 4.95 hours. Had he done it alone it would have taken Daniel 9 hours. Find out how long it would take Paul to do it alone.
